Drop-in programs are a great introduction to Nibbāna Forest Refuge's teachings and a source of ongoing inspiration. All programs are suitable for new as well as experienced practitioners.
daylongs & workshops
Our daylong retreats and workshops are non-residential programs designed to open doors to the Dhamma and provide opportunity for cultivating a steady meditation practice. Unless otherwise noted, all shorter retreat are suitable for both beginners and experienced meditators and include basic instruction.
Our bi-weekly book study program is a wonderful opportunity to deepen our understanding of the Dhamma and connect with the Nibbāna Forest Refuge and Philippine Insight Meditation Community Sangha.
These silent retreats provide an immersive meditation experience. Retreats take place in our beautiful and humble forest refuge. Depending on availability,
practitioners and sleep in tents, native huts, or in our guest dorm rooms and eat in our dining hall. We offer retreats lasting from
three to ten days.
Help us grow the forest by planting trees on our humble piece of land located along the Sierra Madres. Each sapling you plant helps to create rainforest habitats that will benefit people and wildlife for years to come. In addition to giving back to the environment, you are also cultivating your connection to nature through integrating mindfulness practice.
Volunteers are an integral part of our organization and we could not exist without you and your offering of time. Volunteering in the kitchen, with housekeeping, on the land, helping with office work, outreach, and other projects is a practice of dana/generosity. Your work helps allow our community of practitioners to connect with inspiration and teachings to integrate and manifest wisdom and compassion in all aspects of their lives, for the benefit of all beings.
